Support Request: Running software only if specific user logs in

Description

I want to only run if specific user logs in. Also I can't seem to stop the auto login even after login in as admin and click on stop. It says it will not auto start but it still does

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. What you have described is an issue with auto launch of SiteKiosk when you log into the admin or another user. This is an expected behavior if Customized Start was chosen for service user other than the local SiteKiosk user. Auto Start is set for all users then auto logon for a specific user if chosen. In the Service Personal Admin Login page, closing SiteKiosk should cancel Auto Start. Some domain environments may see Auto Start is not cancelled easily, due to security or other restrictions. Launching SiteKiosk in Start Once, then closing, should cancel it.

Now, there are no features to launch a certain application for a specific user for SiteKiosk Classic. It would be easier to setup Task Scheduler in Windows to launch the application if logged in under that user. Or the user will need to close SiteKiosk to access normal Windows Desktop to launch the application (if needed to restrict it from general access).

Note with SiteKiosk Online, you could create a multipage project where you can set a password to access a certain page which would have a link to your desired application.

Best regards,
Andre.
